We are proud to announce that our latest releases of Bancha and Bancha Scaffold now fully support Ext JS 5. After changes in the loader and model creation logic Bancha can now create models for Ext JS 5. To update you just need to update the libraries, Bancha doesn't require any changes in your code.
Coming back from this years CakeFest I'm amazed how vibrant the community around CakePHP is. I met a lot of motivated, interesting people doing all kinds of great projects. I recommend everyone to check out the CakeFest 2013 talks as soon as they are out!
Since we first started working on Bancha over two years ago we have done a lot of progress and we are proud to announce the final Bancha 2 release together with the first stable Bancha Scaffold release. Bancha 2 is by far the biggest overhaul we’ve ever made, and delivers a major improvement to the app development workflow.
After a full refactoring of Bancha Scaffold, it has now reached it's first stable release and will be integrated into Bancha 2. We have hughly extended the API documenation and files can now be loaded via dynamic loading. Before refactoring the API was not very clean and to many it was unclear how to set global configurations. Not we have separated this out into config classes, which will be used during scaffolding.
Sencha Cmd also is able to convert a Sencha Touch application into a first-class, mobile application that has access to device functionality and can be distributed in App Stores.
To use any of these features Bancha needs to play nicely with Sencha Cmd. In this post I will describe how Bancha can be used with Sencha Cmd.
Almost two years ago, Bancha pioneered a whole new way of integrating mobile and web apps with your backend. Since then, Sencha Touch has become one the most important frameworks for building cross-browser mobile applications and Bancha found a wide usage base.
We are really happy to announce here that we are currently working on a major refactoring and soon will be able to ship Bancha 2.0. A preview release will be available in the in the next two weeks.
